Photomatix Pro processes multiple photographs of a strong-flavored contrast scene into a single fancy with details in both highlights and shadows. Photomatix offers pair types of processes to increase the dynamic rank. One process is called HDR Tone Mapping, the other Exposure Blending. Both processes are designed to manufacture an image with an increased obvious dynamic range, but their results are dissimilar.
